History

Extreme H2O soft contact lenses were first publicly introduced at the Las Vegas International Vision Expo in September of 2000. The focus of the company at that time, which still remains the primary objective today, is to meet the needs of the independent practitioner by offering premium products that have superior on-eye performance for their patients. This has been successfully accomplished through the use of proprietary advanced materials manufactured by their affiliate company, Benz Research and Development. In 2002, Hydrogel Vision built a state of the art manufacturing facility in Sarasota, Florida, employing a proprietary wet-processing technique including molds they fabricate themselves. In addition, Hydrogel Vision developed and implemented a Domestic and International Distribution Network to take their products and message to eye care professionals. Hydrogel Vision's strong commitment to their mission and customer service oriented support has continued to allow them to reach many milestones:
